National Grain and Feed Foundation (NGFF) has agreed to provide support to MANRRS student members who are engaged in undergraduate or graduate studies in a field of study in the grain, feed or processing industry or a closely related field.

Scholarship Awards and Eligibility Requirements:

1. Student must be a MANRRS member in good standing with their local chapter and on the national level. Student must be pursuing An undergraduate or graduate degree in a field of study in the grain, feed or processing industry or a closely related field at an accredited college or university.

Or

  1. 2. A degree from a technical school focusing on grain handling, feed manufacturing or grain processing facility operations.

 

  1. 3. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

 

Three scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded during each of the two academic years. The scholarship for each of the three recipients will be renewable for up to one additional year if eligibility requirements are met. One of the annual scholarships each year will be reserved for eligible graduate students, with the other two available to the other student categories cited above. If an eligible graduate student does not apply, all three scholarships will be awarded to eligible applicants from the other categories.

Recipients will also be invited to attend the NGFA National Conference. NGFA will provide complimentary registration and hotel accommodations to scholarship recipients at a relevant NGFA conference to promote networking and development of student contacts with NGFA's membership. Travel stipend to be provided by NGFF. Scholarship recipients will attend relevant NGF A conference as a cohort and participate in specific networking activities TBD. During such events, scholarship recipients will be invited to attend committee meetings that are open to NGF A registrants.
