2022 MANRRS Call ForWorkshop Proposal


MANRRS 36th Annual Career Fair and Training Conference will be held March 23-26, 2022. MANRRS Program Committee (includes conference partners) will make recommendations to the Executive Committee, who will then select workshops for the 2022 conference. Workshop topics may be submitted from academia, government, private industry, as well as from students. You may request that your workshop topic be considered for a general session. However, the Executive Committee, based on recommendations from the Program Committee, will decide final approval. Workshops typically run 45-60 minutes and are scheduled all day Saturday.

Note: If multiple proposals on the same topic are submitted, the Program Committee will ask that they be presented on a panel, coordinated by a designee

Deadline to Submit: Monday, November 15, 2021.


How to Submit Proposals


1. Workshop topic must relate to one of the following tracks (please include the name of a track in the proposal)

  • International/Globalization
  • Diversity & Human Relations
  • Personal Development
  • Chapter Development
  • Professional Development (Resume Writing, Interview Skills, Business Etiquettes, etc.)
  • Ag Business/Economics/Finance
  • Animal Science/Wildlife
  • Natural & Environmental Resources/Forestry
  • Ag Education & Communication/Consumer & Social Sciences
  • Food & Health Sciences
  • Educational development (graduate and professional schools)

2. Information on Presenter(s)

  • Name, Title, Affiliation, Mailing address, Phone Numbers, Fax, and E-mails of session presenters
  • Brief (75 words or less) Biographical Statement for each Presenter


3. Session Format/Style

  • All workshops are required to be interactive and engaging. Please specify how the workshop will be engaging and the interactive components.

4. Information on Workshop

  • Workshop Title
  • Short session description (for conference program) not to exceed 150 words. Description should be well-written and interestingly worded.
  • Summary of Presentation


5. Audio Visual Needs

  • MANRRS provides a podium with microphone and table microphones, LCD Projector, and screen as standard equipment in your session.
